Silk material is made up of fiber collected from the cocoons of larvae of silkworms.
Thousands of fiber length is required to make the fabric. It is the reason why silk products are expensive than the ones made of other materials like cotton, nylon, etc. Though the fabric is silky smooth, it also develops wrinkles when not stored properly. So how can we remove wrinkles without damaging the fabric?
Place your iron on the lowest heat, silk or rayon setting to prevent damaging the
delicate fabric. Wipe the ironing board to make sure it is clean.
- Place any lightweight fabric on your ironing board and then put the scarves on it.
The fabric will absorb the excess heat of the iron.
2. Test a small patch of your scarf with your iron to make sure it does not stick or cause.

3. Begin ironing your scarves, starting with the lower part first, and working your way up.
Allow the ironed part to hang down your board.
