Unpopular Usages For Silk Fabric

Silk fabric, As a wide range application fabric, can be used on clothing, bedding, curtains, wallpapers, scarves, ties, etc., then what are some of the more unpopular usages?

First, to wipe dense instrument. Because of its softness and fineness, the silk fabric is often used to wipe the dense instruments and the shackles. 

Small appliances, musical instruments etc in the home can also be rubbed with silk fabric, but remember to use white silk fabric, which did not dye any colors.
